Scott McKibben (CEO/ DOP/ EP)
Scott McKibben is a photographer, cinematographer, visual artist and musician. Throughout the years, his curiosity for the arts has developed a rather expansive body of work in various mediums. Primarily concentrating in video and photography, Scott has developed a professional career as a freelance film maker and photographer.
Scott has filmed for Netflix, Amazon, Food Network, Cooking Channel, TLC, BET, History Channel, Discovery, Nat Geo Wild and many more. Aside from his career in television, Scott has directed, produced, and operated on music videos, commercials, documentaries and short films. Scotts work proves to be malleable within a diverse spectrum of genres. From werewolves to floi gras, McKibben has been able to adapt a unique creative style to any project.
Scott migrated from Atlanta to New Orleans and then found himself in the mountains of Asheville, NC in 2017 where he met his wife Shea and in 2022 had their son, Silver. In the process of growing a family, McKibben decided to grow an even bigger vision and founded Ride High.
Years of traveling the world working on productions with exceptional professionals, in all fields, gave to a vision to build a collective. Together this network consists of a diverse range of creatives and spans through out the world. In January 2023 Scott opened the doors of Ride High Studios and began another chapter in his creative path.
Richard Kathlean (President of Production)
An Emmy nominated Showrunner/Executive Producer with years of experience in a leadership role in television and film production. From complex international logistics to developing story and characters. Richard has traveled productions around the globe multiple times and utilizes his experience to see a show from initial concept to final delivery.
Richard is a member of the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences. And is an indigenous member of the Tlingit and Haida Tribes of Alaska.
Lyman Creason (Manager of Production)
Lyman Creason is a seasoned producer and production manager with extensive experience in film, television, and live event production. With a career spanning high-profile projects for HBO, Netflix, and major live event brands like Lexus and The Player’s Tribune, Lyman brings a strategic approach to budgeting, scheduling, and logistics, ensuring seamless execution from pre-production through distribution.
Starting his career in New York City has taken him to shoots all over the country before embarking on producing projects in Europe and South America. Believing producing is as integral to the creative process, he specializes in finding creative solutions to aid film artists. With a strong background in international and domestic production, Lyman excels at coordinating teams, managing vendors, and streamlining complex operations across diverse projects—whether it’s a large-scale scripted series, a fast-paced live event, or a high-stakes commercial shoot. Adept at balancing creative vision with financial oversight, he is committed to delivering productions on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Most recently, he produced the feature films Revelations of a Divine Love and Year on Ice. Other film and television credits include Succession, Asphalt City, The Night Of, FBoy Island, Becks, The Looming Tower, The OA, Split, Disconnect, and the shorts Let Liv and Alice and Lewis, as well as theatrical and festival selections featured at Tribeca and Montclair Film Festivals.es here
Jonah Kathlean (Production Coordinator)
Jonah Kathlean always steps up to the occasion with grace and a smile on his face. While playing frisbee golf to pass the time and ease his mind, he is a major player and asset to the ride high team. From logistics to scheduling and booking, Jonah is our rockstar.
Nenman Walbe (Producer/ Camera/ Editor)
The son of Nigerian immigrants, Nenman was raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. where he graduated Boston University with a BS in Communications. He began his journey in the industry at the Food Network, where he learned from the likes of seasoned producer and chef, Emeril Lagasse. Over the course of his nineteen-year career, he has written, produced, and shot hundreds of hours of lifestyle content that has been nationally broadcast through channels such as the Food Network, Fine Living (Travel Channel), TV-One, Disney, BET-J (Centric), Cooking Channel, Own, Revolt TV, and Aspire TV. Nenman was particularly influential in developing TV-One’s Reality Docu-Drama series, “Save My Son with Dr. Steve Perry” (Nominated for the 2013 NAACP Image Award) and was a key contributor to the show “Living It Up with Patti Labelle”.
Throughout this time in the entertainment industry, Nenman has become deeply respected for his creativity, passion and determination to bring projects to their fullest potential on time and on budget, no matter what obstacles he might face.
Tom Kelly (Audio engineer/ video)
Tom Kelly is an accomplished audio engineer with over 15 years of expertise in music production, sound design, and dialogue post-production. For nearly a decade, he has established himself as a sought-after audio engineer for some of the world’s most acclaimed podcasts, including The Always Sunny Podcast, True Crime Obsessed, Last Podcast on the Left, and The Drive with Peter Attia. When he’s not in his home studio, meticulously crafting soundscapes on his trusted Amphion monitors, Tom channels his creativity into visual storytelling. As an emerging cinematographer, he creates compelling narratives and mini-documentaries, helping Asheville businesses forge meaningful connections with their audiences.
